The Wood Green Area Action Plan (AAP) aims to ensure these changes are well-managed, and in line with the community’s aspirations. In 2017 Haringey Council worked with Public Voice Neighbourhoods to run a public consultation on the draft AAP to inform the next stage of the plan.

Our role

We worked with officers from Haringey Council to involve as many local people and groups in the consultation process as possible, to listen to gather their feedback and report it to Haringey Council and in public. All of the summaries of consultation responses were included in our public report, with Council responses and actions, and are included in the latest version of the AAP document completed by Haringey Council. Over 1,000 people and organisations provided feedback on the plans for Wood Green, and more than 6,500 people viewed the consultation material online or at an event or public exhibition of the plans – just under a third of the total population of Wood Green. Read our report.

Whilst Haringey Council are considering the comments and feedback we are consulting local disabled people to find ways to make the Wood Green area accessible for everyone.
